If you reported a number
Corrections are not applied on trust. The company's own published page is opened and read first, and only then is the figure changed and the check date on the relevant page updated. If the company has genuinely changed its pricing, that usually moves the rankings on several pages at once, because the same fee data drives every comparison on this site.
If the page turns out to be right after all, that is worth knowing too — it usually means something on the page is worded confusingly, which is its own bug.
If you asked for a country or a marketplace
Adding a destination means finding three separate things: its EMS postage band, its import tax rules and duty-free threshold, and any items it refuses to accept from Japan. None of that can be guessed, so it takes a while — but requests are what decide the order things get added in.
If you run one of the services listed here
Corrections from a company about its own pricing are treated as authoritative and applied quickly, with the source credited and the check date updated. The same goes for a rate table we have marked as unpublished — several figures on this site carry a visible warning saying a company does not publish something, and we would much rather replace that warning with a real number than keep it.
What will not change is the ordering. Results are ranked by what the buyer actually pays and by whether the item can legally be exported, never by any commercial arrangement.
